Jamie Jones’ second week of Paradise at [UNVRS] revealed exactly why the Wednesday residency is still one of the most essential dates on the Ibiza calendar this summer. From the minute guests walked in the door, the night felt elevated. Hospitality on entry immediately set the tone, with a warm, organised and genuinely welcoming arrival experience that made stepping into [UNVRS] feel seamless rather than hectic – a small detail, perhaps, but one that added to the sense that this was going to be a special night from the outset.

The room already looked amazing inside. Again, production was a major factor in setting the mood, with Paradise’s Starship Eden world realised through immersive lighting, rich visuals and theatrical detail throughout the club. Performers were hanging from the ceiling, disguised as leaves, and it was one of the highlights of the performance. It was perfect for the dreamlike jungle theme of the room. Even before the music had built to a full peak, it injected a surreal energy into the room, and those visual touches would only get more effective as the night went on.
Kicking off the musical journey was Manda Moor, who wasted no time in laying down the groundwork with a set that instantly locked the room into groove. Her sound was punchy and rolling without overplaying too early, giving the dancefloor exactly what it needed at that stage of the night with enough energy to pull people in, but with plenty of space left for the story to build. Her choices had a sharp quality that fit perfectly in the room, laying down a confident opening chapter and slowly tightening the atmosphere as the crowd continued to fill out.
From there Luciano went deeper and more hypnotic. His set was a change of tone, a deeper edge to the night but still keeping the momentum in the right direction. Where Manda Moor’s set had set the groove, Luciano extended it, adding more tension and texture to the room. It was the type of set that made the dancefloor lean in even further with heads down, utterly engrossed, the energy becoming more and more focused and immersive as the club fell into that unmistakable Paradise rhythm. The changeover between the two groups was seamless and well-paced, and by the time Luciano was fully up to speed, the room was switched on completely.

The build made the last stretch of the night hit even harder, as Josh Baker and Jamie Jones stepped up for a back-to-back that provided exactly the lift the room had been building towards. Their set brought the biggest energy of the night, pushing things into a more driving, high-impact gear but still keeping that rolling Paradise groove at the centre of everything. Jamie Jones’ unmistakably slick, warm and bass-heavy touch was all over it, but there was a tougher, more upfront edge to it from Josh Baker that gave the set real punch. Together they found a balance that was playful and powerful, each transition feeding the energy rather than breaking it.
Jamie’s second Paradise of the season was an evening of progression, enjoyed in full. Manda Moor set the scene, Luciano added the mood and Josh Baker B2B Jamie Jones took it to an epic climax. The hospitality on arrival was excellent, the crowd was fully engaged and the production looked spectacular all the way through; it was a night that showed Paradise confidently growing into its new home at [UNVRS].
