Molella, Walshy Fire, KG Man and Prime Punk Fuse Dance and Caribbean Sounds on ‘Bam Bidi Bam’

Molella, Walshy Fire, KG Man, and Prime Punk collaborate to bridge European dance culture to Caribbean music. It is a part of a new single ‘Bam Bidi Bam,’ featuring Molella who produced and wrote ‘Freed From Desire,’ Gala’s global hit, and Walshy Fire, known for his work with Major Lazer and Grammy-winning Jamaican singer Koffee, expanding dancehall’s reach into the global electronic music.

Now available via TV Recordings is ‘Bam Bidi Bam,’ a genre-bending, throbbing, and pumping single that has been a massive success. It features a massive bass, pulsing percussion, and a distinctive vocal melody that blends European dance’s pounding heartbeat with Caribbean music’s rhythmic pulse. It is a vibrant, dance-inducing tune that has been a major success at intimate clubs and large-scale festivals.

‘Bam Bidi Bam’ is a juxtaposition of the talents of Molealla and Prime Punk, balancing established dance production with modern-day EDM sounds, and the addition of Walshy Fire brings in dancehall’s flair and KG Man’s reggae spice.
